These Special Little Squirrels Can Only Be Found On An Island In Japan

We all love cute animals, but they are made even more special when they are so rare they can only be found on a remote island somewhere. The northern Japanese island Hokkaido is home to one of the most adorable species of squirrel out there, the Ezo momonga. These tiny flying squirrels look a lot like a real-life Pokemon with their giant eyes and fluffy fur. Well, I know where I'm going on vacation next!

After doing some research, I found out that they are indeed real.
