Amazon River is largest river in the world and in its depth there are creatures which are not only amazing but terrifying at the same time. The beauty of this river is that it houses many species of fishes. Many of the fishes found here , can only be found in the rain forest of Amazon. 

Two fishermen decided to explore the river and what they caught was the monster fish itself. They also realised that there could be many other species in this river, here’s a look at their astonishing discovery :

While the weather conditions of the river were not easy to handle, these fishermen were determined to explore the river.

They then found a monster fish, called Arapaima, which weighed over 200 pounds. This gigantic carnivorous fish lives in Amazon river and its surrounding lakes.

Fishermen were able to spot this fish as it was raining at that point of time. Arapaima fish stays close to surface as it needs oxygen to breathe.
